I found this big thick book at a book sale for a cheap price, so I got it because Atlantis is kinda interesting. But when I started reading, I found it was more about the world of Dirk Pitt and NUMA than Atlantis. Clive Cussler has written (and still writes) many books about Pitt and his adventures to save the world.

I didn't really like this book. It had a cool plot, but when it comes down to it these books are a dime a dozen. Some agent for some agency who knows everything and is an expert at everything goes through extroadinarily unrealistic circumstances to save the world. I guess these kinds of books are fun to read every now and then, but I don't know if it was worth it.
