The Conspiracy of Ignorance
Author: Martin Gross
Copyright date: 1999
In this book, Martin Gross brings up an interesting point: as you drive around town, it seems like almost every car
has a bumper sticker that says "My child is in Honor Roll." How can every kid at school be in the Honor Roll? Isn't
it supposed to be the elite?
This was one of the most boring books I've ever read. It seemed like Gross did nothing but state statistics, the
whole bloody book. But I kept reading, because this is an interesting topic for me. I definitely believe
that there are many incompetent teachers out there...in fact I knew a few...
I guess this book was worth reading. I'd always believed that most teachers are not good teachers, I guess now I know
the statistics too.
